Braemar House School is very committed to enriched student experiences and innovative programming; the development of a school food garden offers a unique opportunity to foster teamwork, environmental awareness, and hands-on activity.
Of course we hope to provide classroom experiences to enrich the curriculum, but we also want to allow for student experiences in their Clans (multi-aged groupings of about 12 students) so that students can teach, lead and help each other. We hope that the school garden will become an enjoyable place for children to work - building, planting, nurturing, and harvesting - and a source of pride and ownership for our entire school community.
