Grade Eight

Judy Gardner
Bachelor of Arts Honours (Queen’s University),
Bachelor of Education (Queen’s University),
Specialist in Reading and Special Education

Mrs. Gardner has been traveling and teaching for the last decade, sharing the learning experience with students in Guatemala, England, Mississauga, and most recently, Western Quebec. Her classroom is a colourful and creative place, suitable to maturing Intermediate students. Mrs. Gardner maintains high expectations and encourages students to be themselves as they travel the path of becoming lifelong learners. While immersing herself in the school community, she has demonstrated leadership and problem solving skills and has participated in several projects aimed at increasing student achievement, closing the achievement gap, and boosting parental confidence in education.

“We are all treasure chests of talents, insights, and remarkable gifts. Spend time locating these and shining a bright light where they live. Invest in your beliefs. Do cartwheels for your own dreams." SARK
My inspiration - Judy Gardner
