The Braemar Legacy Trust

The purpose of The Braemar Legacy Trust is to financially support special projects (capital or programming) that are beyond the regular operations of the school.  The vision for the Trust is that it will contribute to the long-term viability of Braemar and position the school to respond to changes an opportunities that come our way.

Braemar Legacy Trust PROJECTS

  • Refurbishing of the baseball diamond.  This project was on the ‘wish list’ for many years and was well received by our school community and neighbourhood and park users.

  • 3D printer for school-wide use and Smart TVs for Grade 5, 6 and 8. These replaced the well-used and outdated smart board, and permit students to share and collaborate with the lights on.

  • Our next anticipated project is a very exciting one. Called a “Hub” space, we are envisioning a separate space and resources for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) programming, a Maker Space, literacy activities and a host of hands-on educational programming. We have a significant donation from one of our alumni families towards this project.

  • Book to commemorate the school’s 25th anniversaryThe Braemar Legacy Trust create and published a commemorative book filled with photos and stories about the first twenty five years of Braemar House School.  Through a Looking Glass,  is a wonderful keepsake.

To purchase a copy, please email Kristin Pass at
