A Tropical Graduation

Our Grade 8 students and their family and friends gathered this week to celebrate their Grade 8 Graduation.

Braemar ‘B’ Award– All 13 of our graduating students received this award. It is an award given to a graduate who has earned points during their grade 7 and 8 year. They get points for participation, leadership, global competency, teams, etc.

Principal’s Award for Academic Excellence–This award is given to a graduating student who has earned an overall 80-89% average in major subject areas – Language, Math, Science, History, Geography and French This year we have 9 out of 13 graduates receiving this award.

Braemar House School Honour Roll–This award is given to a graduating student who has earned an overall average of 90 % or higher in major subject areas – Language, Math, Science, History, Geography and French This year we have 4 out of 13 graduates receiving this award.

The grade 8 students selected Sophie, Julian and Bianca as their valedictorians and the 3 students presented a touching speech about their time at Braemar and their classmates and staff.
