Our final assembly for 2022 happened this week. We gathered in the gym and recognized those students who demonstrated Joyfulness this month There were many students recognized.
We had a special visitor join us as well. Ms. Heather Vanner from the Brant Food Bank/Christmas Baskets joined us and we happily gave her the gift cards generously donated by our Braemar community. Thank you for over 1600.00 in gift cards, this will go a long way to help those less fortunate! Ms. Vanner shared that there are currently 1000 families using the food bank right now. Our donation will help so many have a great Christmas. She was overwhelmed by the Braemar generosity!
The Dunsdon Legion announced the winners for the Remembrance Day Literacy and Poster Contest. Nine Braemar students received awards!
Finally we watched some very enjoyable Christmas movies; written, starring and created by the Grade 8 students.
What a wonderful way to wrap up 2022!
