Our Annual Literacy Week is happening next week. There are a variety of events happening: All week long there will be daily trivia questions for Primary, Junior and Intermediate. Winners will be announced on Friday.
Monday- Bookmark Creations- all classes will go to the Grade 5 class and create their own bookmarks
Tuesday- In the morning the Montessori and Prep One classes will travel to the library for a tour and storytelling time.The entire school will participate in D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read).
Wednesday-Classes will Buddy up for a wonderful Reading Buddies session. Thursday - Dress Like A Book Character Day- Staff and students can dress up like a character form a book (always a fun day!) Friday- Formal Assembly, Trivia Contest Winners announced
Additionally there will be an interactive main bulletin board- Book Scavenger Hunt as well as Giant word search boards- Primary, Junior and Intermediate.
